The RX10 II features the world's first*1 1.0-type stacked Exmor RS™ CMOS sensor with advanced signal processing and an attached DRAM memory chip which together enable more than 5 x faster readout of image data and are responsible for a variety of standout features that have previously been available only in a select few professional level cameras.

A super trick in snowboarding captured in 20x super slow motion. A newly developed Exmor RS™ CMOS sensor with a DRAM attached delivers lightning data processing and realizes up to 960fps (1000 fps in PAL system) high frame rate shooting which was previously only available with professional cams. (This footage was shot with RX100 IV and RX10 II and edited.)
